Eerie Horror No-One Lives Under the Lighthouse is Coming to Console

No One Lives Under the Lighthouse

No One Lives Under the Lighthouse, originally a PC title, is now coming to console.

There’s no sign of Robert Pattinson, but this PSX-style adventure could deliver more than a few chills. It sees your protagonist turning up at lighthouse, a lighthouse where the previous keeper has just disappeared.

Developer Marevo Collective describes it as slow burn horror without any spoken words. So we can reasonably assume you won’t be running into any welcome locals and it’ll just be you on the island. What could possibly go wrong?

Even without the horror aspect, lighthouses are fascinating and unsettling in equal measure. On the one hand, there’s the sense of having everything to yourself But, on the other, isolation can do strange things to a mind. And if things do go wrong, no-one’s coming to your rescue.

The game originally hit the PC in 2020 and has been pretty well received. Now, published by Torture Star Video, it’s making the jump to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.

We’re particularly interested to see what kind of achievements the console release will feature. We’re hoping for, at the very least, some kind of no to Willem Dafoe. We won’t have to wait long to find out since No One Lives Under the Lighthouse arrives this May 18th.

In the meantime, you can check out the trailer, pick it up on Steam if you’re impatient, and start growing a really bushy beard.

He’ll tackle most genres – football titles aside – though he has a taste for games that that are post-apocalyptic, horror-oriented or thought provoking in nature.
