There’s a Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Xbox Series X|S theme and you don’t have to have bought the game to get it.
And if you’re worried about being confronted by Cal Kestis’s facial hair, don’t panic. This Star Wars Jedi: Survivor dynamic background theme is much more abstract. It features a spooky, spiky planet with the Jedi Order’s logo floating above it.
It’s not as dynamic as we would have liked since, unless we’ve blinked and missed it, there’s not a lot of animation happening on-screen. But it’s free, whether you bought the game or not, and it’s a fun way of sprucing up your desktop.
So how do you get your hands on it? Don’t bother searching around the Xbox Store, you won’t find it. Instead, assuming you’ve got an Xbox Series X|S, hit the Xbox button on your controller.
Then, go to Profile and Settings, General and Personalisation. Next, go to My Background, go down to Dynamic Backgrounds and it should be the latest entry in the Games section. Install it and you’re good to.
But what if you’re on PlayStation 5? Has publisher EA and developer Respawn cruelly abandoned PS5 owners? It’s true there’s no PlayStation theme but, unlike the PS4 and PS3, the console doesn’t support dynamic backgrounds. And, as far as we know, they have no plays to change that.
So, for now, this is just limited to Xbox Series X|S owners. But if you’re a fan of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor or Star Wars in general this theme is well worth a download. And if you’ve yet to play Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, check out our review here.
