Here’s What’s Coming to PlayStation Plus This May

PlayStation Plus May 2023

If you’ve missed out on Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart you’ll be happy to learn that it’s coming to PlayStation Plus this May.

It’s coming to the service’s PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra tiers (May’s monthly titles have already been announced). So, if you’ve got an active subscription to those tiers, and PS5, you can dive into this gem. Feel free to check out our review here, but if you’ve got a PS5 it’s an essential play.

But PS4 owners won’t be losing out, since there are plenty of PS4 games dropping this month. Watch Dogs: Legion sees you exploring a dystopian, post-Brexit London and it lets you swap between various NPCs at will, a mechanic we called a unique joy.

As for the rest of the games, there are plenty of excellent offerings. These are all the titles available to PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra subscribers. You’ll have to wait a few days because they won’t be available until May 16th.

  • Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart | PS5
  • Humanity | PS4, PS5
  • Watch Dogs: Legion | PS4, PS5
  • Dishonored 2 | PS4
  • Dishonored: Death of the Outsider | PS4
  • Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin | PS4
  • Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition | PS4
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration | PS4
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider | PS4
  • Bus Simulator 21: Next Stop | PS4, PS5
  • The Evil Within 2 | PS4
  • Wolfenstein: Youngblood | PS4
  • Thymesia | PS5
  • Rain World | PS4
  • Lake | PS4, PS5
  • Conan Exiles | PS4
  • Rune Factory 4 Special | PS4
  • Soundfall | PS4, PS5

There are some excellent titles in there, including the whole rebooted Tomb Raider trilogy. We weren’t keen on Redfall, but Dishonored 2 and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider are a pair of Arkane smashes.

Premium tier subscribers will also get their hands on these “classics”:

  • Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow | PS4, PS5
  • Blade Dancer: Lineage of Light | PS4, PS5
  • Pursuit Force | PS4, PS5
  • Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered | PS4

Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered is well worth playing, even without the original’s multiplayer mode. So, whatever your tastes, there should be something here to keep you busy.

Weekend Editor // Chris has been gaming since the days of the Acorn Electron, which was allegedly purchased to 'help him with his homework'. You can probably guess how well that went. He’ll tackle most genres – football titles aside – though he has a taste for games that that are post-apocalyptic, horror-oriented or thought provoking in nature.
