[UPDATED] How to Easily Duplicate Items in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Duplication Glitch

The Tears of the Kingdom cheats just keep on coming! There’s now an easier way to duplicate items, diamonds included, in Link’s latest adventure.

Update 26/05/2023: This glitch only works with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom version 1.1.1 or lower. Patch 1.1.2 removes all of the currently discovered duplication glitches. The original article follows below.

The first glitch to be discovered involved fusing items to arrows, but limited you to duplicating one item at once. The next glitch, which we reported on yesterday, lets you duplicate up to four items at once. But this third The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom glitch lets you duplicate up to five items with just a few button presses.

To duplicate items in Tears of the Kingdom you need a paraglider and at least one of the item you want to duplicate. To pull off this bug, go to a low ledge, somewhere you can easily reach the ground. You’ll also need to have got to the point in the game where you have been given the paraglider.

Now, do the following:

  1. Jump into the air and press X to open your paraglider
  2. Press + to open the pause menu and go to your inventory.
  3. Select the items you want to duplicate and hold up to five of them
  4. Hit B and Y together then hit + immediately after
  5. Repeat steps 3 to 4 until you land
  6. Go and pick up all the dropped items

This will let you duplicate diamonds and any other materials. We’re up to 108 diamonds, which we’re sure is enough to buy half of Hyrule. And that’s the best (for now) way to duplicate items in Tears of the Kingdom.
