How to Get Rid of Red Mist in Redfall

Redfall review 2 (1)

Do you need help getting rid of the annoying red mist around Redfall? Here’s what you need to know to clear it.

As you explore Redfall, you’ll find some areas that are surrounded by red mist. Walk through it, and it’ll do serious damage to you. It’s less than ideal, then. Thankfully, you can get rid of it – and it’s pretty easy to do so, too. Here’s how to get rid of the red mist in Redfall.

At the centre of every red mist area you’ll see a strange gargoyle statue. To get rid of the red mist in Redfall, you need to locate this. Once you’ve found the statue, equip a Portable UV Beam weapon. Get as close to the statue as possible, then shoot it with the UV beam, which will make the red mist disappear.

Once it’s gone, you can then approach the statue and destroy it with a melee attack or normal weapon. That’s it: the statue has gone for good, and it means the red mist can never return. Now you don’t need to worry about getting damaged as you travel around the world of Redfall. It also opens up some new areas that you couldn’t properly explore before.

If you don’t have a Portable UV Beam, don’t worry. They’re fairly common, and so keep exploring and opening up weapons crates until you find one.
