Honkai: Star Rail features a huge space station as one of the most frequented areas, and it’s here we find Asta. As lead researcher, Asta appears in many of the game’s missions. She is always gazing towards the stars. But what is the best build for Asta?

As an early fire user, Asta is a great start for teams, though she does get overshadowed as your pulls get better. Asta is very much a support character, dealing in buffs for the team, however her area of effect fire meteor blast is great for chipping away at the enemies.

Best Light Cone for Asta in Honkai: Star Rail

The best light cone for Asta is But the Battle Isn’t Over.

This light cone increases the wearer’s energy regeneration rate by 10% and regenerates one skill point when the wearer uses their ultimate on an ally. This effect can only occur once every two uses of the ultimate. When the wearer uses their skill, the next ally in the team deals 30% more damage for one turn.

Best Relics and Planar Relics for Asta

The best relic armour for Asta is Firesmith of Lava-Forging (4 set):

  • 2-piece set: Increases fire damage by 12%
  • 4-piece set: Increases the wearer’s skill DMG by 20%. After they use their ultimate, DMG is increases by 12% on their following turn.

For planar relics, go with Sprightly Vonwacq (2 set), this will help her regenerate energy much faster.

2-piece set: Increases the wearer’s regeneration rate by 5%. When the wearer’s SPD reaches 120 or higher, their action will be advanced forward by 40% immediately after entering a battle.

Materials needed to level up Asta in Honkai: Star Rail

In order to level up Asta, and ascend her at levels 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, she requires the following materials:

  • Silvermane Badges x 12
  • Silvermane Insignia x 13
  • Silvermane Medals x 12
  • Endotherm Chitin x 50

Materials for the earlier levels (20 – 40) are acquired through in-game shops. As you level characters higher, you will be required to synthesise materials or receive them as rewards from challenge Calyx’, the simulated universe, assignments, and stagnant shadows.
