Diablo 4 is just under a month away but developer Blizzard is set to unveil its post-launch plans.
The latest Diablo 4 livestream, taking place next week, will shine a light not just on regular content but the cosmetics that will be available for the game. As an always online game, this action-RPG will rely on people coming back. The last thing Blizzard want is for it to go the way of Babylon’s Fall, shut down less than a year after its release.
According to Blizzard, the livestream will explore how the “..Seasons, Cosmetics, and the completely optional Battle Pass will work.” Yes, they’ve placed emphasis on completely optional. The game is a fully-priced product, so including a Battle Pass is going to raise a few eyebrows.
The livestream takes place next week, May 10th at 11:00 AM PDT / 7:00 PM BST. You’ll be able to watch it via Twitch and YouTube live. The video will also available to watch post-stream.
And if you want to play Diablo 4 before its June 2nd release date, don’t forget about the upcoming Server Slam. It’ll take place between May 12th and May 14th and, available on PlayStation, Xbox and PC, will let you play the first chunk of the game.
