Remember grunge? The Sims 4 is bring it back in the form of the Grunge Revival Kit.
And if you don’t remember it, congratulations on not being old like us. According to EA, the Sims 4 Grunge Revival Kit will “.. merge the rebellious spirit of the grunge movement with the tranquility of reading sanctuaries, and let your Sims embrace their authentic selves.” So, a lot of of denim then.
Meanwhile, the Book Nook Kit does what it says on the tin, letting your Sims immerse themselves in the wonderful world of books. At least, that’s what the pack’s supposed to do, letting you create, “..the perfect spot to curl up surrounded by shelves filled with literary treasures”.
However, we can’t help but think of all those TV interviews where the interviewee has clearly arranged their shelves in a very specific, visible way. You know, just so they can be seen to be owning those books, even though they’ve never read them.
As with previous kits, these don’t change anything about The Sims 4’s mechanics, instead they serve as another means of customising your Sims’ homes. They’ll both arrive on PC and console this June 1st, likely priced at $4.99.
