Diablo 4 has received a handful of hotfixes since its launch including one which fixes an infinite experience glitch.
Yes, if you knew where to look you could farm experience without the need to roam. However, along with the other Diablo 4 hotfixes, it’s now been squashed. Shame. It’s like Blizzard doesn’t want anyone to have any fun.
We’re kidding, of course. Diablo 4’s co-op functionality is a big deal and so Blizzard is trying to keep everything balanced. For example, their last major patch made some sweeping changes, buffing the Necromance and dialling down the Barbarian.
However, these hotfixes are generally rolled out when issues are spotted. They’re not, technically, a patch but the issues that are hotfixed are often ones that require immediate attention. As of the time of writing, there have been seven hotfixes which are detailed here.
So what do these latest hotfixes do? Apart from crushing that infinite experience bug (spoilsports), they alter the level ranges for some bosses. They also address a glitch where players could teleport the wrong location. Take that, Star Trek – we knew there was something up with just beaming all over the place. We’re going to walk.
On top of that, the Level 100 pinnacle boss does even more damage so if you’re looking to take them on you might want to arm up. The good news is that the same boss now has less health.
You can check out all the hotfixes here. That does take you to the PC forum but these fixes have been rolled out across all platforms.
