Alongside the launch of The Remembering content, developer Gameloft has shared an updated 2023 Content Roadmap for Disney Dreamlight Valley, giving us a taste of what to expect. It covers two specific updates, coming later in the summer and then again in September. There’s also mention of more things to come later on.
There are two things the roadmap makes very clear, however: Vannelope from Wreck-It Ralph and Belle from Beauty and the Beast are coming to Dreamlight Valley! The Wreck-It Ralph content will be coming first, alongside the Summer update. Along with Vannelope, there’ll also be a new creative feature and the opportunity to win in-game prizes. There’s no fixed date for this, but we’d guess at late July.
The Beauty and the Beast content will come in September. This time, it looks like we’ll get to visit Belle’s realm before welcoming her to the village. The roadmap specifically mentions welcoming new friends – so we’re guessing Belle won’t be alone. Will we get to build a home for The Beast? Or maybe Cogsworth and Lumiere? Either way, we’re excited to revisit one of our favourite Disney Classics.
Finally, the late 2023 content specifies a new chapter will be coming, along with new characters and new features. It’s at this point we’ll also see Disney Dreamlight Valley’s multiplayer drop – and a new magical tool. We have no idea what that could be!
But if you’ve not played Dreamlight Valley in some time, there’s plenty of new content to be going on with thanks to The Remembering update. It adds a new character, a new area, and a new suite of story quests – along with finally giving us some answers about who lives in that Pumpkin House…
