Here Are the Games Joining PlayStation Plus This June

PlayStation Plus June 2023

Sony has announced June’s PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra titles and there are a few real gems in there.

It still hurts our brains that these games aren’t available at the beginning of June. But, unlike the PlayStation Plus Essential games, they don’t disappear after a month. So which games are dropping and are they worth your time?

The short answer is that all of them are. There aren’t any Day 1 releases and, unlike Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation Plus subscribers rarely get those. But looking down the list, there’s nothing that we’d turn our nose up at.

Here are the games on offer, all of which are available from next week:

  • Far Cry 6 (PS4/PS5)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge (PS4/PS5)
  • Rogue Legacy 2 (PS4/PS5)
  • Inscryption (PS4/PS5)
  • Soulstice (PS5)
  • Tacoma (PS4)
  • Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (PS4)
  • Killing Floor 2 (PS4)

At least.. those are the ones on the PlayStation Blog. Sony has also tweeted out a list of several other titles which are apparently also joining the service. It’s a little unusual for these not to be on the blog but, assuming these are accurate, PlayStation Plus Premier and Extra subscribers are also getting:

  • Lonely Mountains: Downhill
  • Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York
  • Hundred Days: Winemaking Simulator
  • A Hat in Time
  • Carto
  • Forager
  • Dodgeball Academia
  • The Wild at Heart
  • Redout 2
  • Thief
  • MX vs ATV Legends
  • PAW Patrol Mighty Pups: Save Adventure Bay!
  • My Friend Peppa Pig
  • DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace
  • The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition
  • Elex 2

Most of these are also worth playing, with the odd exception. Thief, for example, was a little disappointing. We’ve still got our fingers crossed for a full on remaster/remake of the original Thief trilogy.

PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will also get these ‘classic’ games:

  • Killzone: Liberation (PSP)
  • Worms (PS1)
  • Herc’s Adventures (PS1)

If you want to know where to start, we can recommend the superb Inscryption. And if you’ve not snapped up this month’s June monthly titles, they’re well worth claiming specially if you like horrible, dinosaur-related ‘accidents’.

Weekend Editor // Chris has been gaming since the days of the Acorn Electron, which was allegedly purchased to 'help him with his homework'. You can probably guess how well that went. He’ll tackle most genres – football titles aside – though he has a taste for games that that are post-apocalyptic, horror-oriented or thought provoking in nature.
