This guide will tell you everything you need to know about completing the quest called Fire Alarm in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Before you can start this, you’ll need to have completed the story quest, Miracles Take Time, and got up to friendship level two with The Fairy Godmother. Once you are at level two, talk to The Fairy Godmother, and then follow her to listen to her conversation with Merlin.
When they’re done talking, speak to The Fairy Godmother. It seems she wants to enchant our watering can to finally get rid of those pesky fires around the Forgotten Lands. Hoorah! But it means a gathering quest. You need to make an Icy Enchantment using the ingredients below:
- 3x Tourmaline – Pink gem gathered from Sunlit Plateau or Frosted Heights
- 15x Snowball – Found by digging in Frosted Heights
- 5x Dream Shard – Found by clearing Night Thorns or digging up sparkling patches of ground
- 5x Purple Impatiens – Flowers found in Forgotten Lands
- 1x Empty Vial – Crafted with 3x Glass (itself crafted with 5x sand and 1x coal)
Once you’ve got everything, head to a workbench to make Icy Enchantment. You’ll find it in the Potion & Enchantment section. Next, open your inventory and use the Icy Enchantment.
Now head back to the Forgotten Lands, and you can use your watering can to get rid of the fires! It even works on those half-buried chests, so you can finally open them too. Once you’ve put out five fires, report back to the Fairy Godmother.
Now it’s time to add some decorations to the Forgotten Lands. You need to place 3 seating items, 4 outdoor lights and 25 pathways. To do this, you’ll need to enter furnish mode (triangle or Y to enter your inventory, then move down to ‘Furniture’ on the left-hand side). If you don’t have enough items, you may have to visit Scrooge’s store to buy some, or craft your own.
When you’re done, return to the Fairy Godmother. The last thing you need to do before you complete Fire Alarm in Disney Dreamlight Valley is follow the Fairy Godmother back up to the Forgotten Lands. There, she shows you a plant that’s growing – something that wasn’t there before. But it seems we’ll need to wait a while before we figure out what it is.
