To open the locked door in Amnesia: The Bunker, you need to pick up a brick from near the dead prisoner and throw it at the lock. Would this work in real life? We have our doubts but since Mythbusters has finished we may never know.
However, you have to make sure you’re at the right door. There’s another door, without a lock, that looks like it should happily open up if you throw a brick at it. We know, we spent way too long trying to break it. How long? Let’s just we were at it for a good five minutes. In our defence, the tutorial had us breaking a similar-looking door. It’s not our fault. Honest.
Instead, you have to find the other door, the one with a lock near the top. Throw the brick at the lock and it will break, opening the door. Just be prepared to run, that’s all we’re saying.
