After launching on PlayStation and PC, post-apocalyptic cat game Stray is coming to Xbox.
Stray casts you as a cat who, roaming a post-apocalyptic but thankfully non-radioactive world, takes a tumble into a robot-filled city. We reviewed it when it came out last July and were very taken with its feline antics.
We called it a “..wonderful adventure worth jumping into,” remarking that “You’ll quickly fall in love with your adorable four-legged protagonist.” That said we were a little disappointed it was so short. We could have spend hours upon hours playing as this awesome mog.
Now, formerly a timed PlayStation console exclusive, it’s coming to Xbox. The news was revealed at last night’s Annapurna Interactive Showcase, though there had been rumblings for a while.
It’s set to hit both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It also seems like an ideal choice for Xbox Game Pass, but there’s no news that that’s happening. It’s currently a PlayStation Plus Extra title so we have our doubts.
But if you’ve been side-eying cat-loving PlayStation owners, here’s your chance to get in on the four-pawed action. Stray is set for an August 10th release, landing on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. Or if you really can’t wait, it’s currently 25% off in the Steam sale.
