The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion Pack Rides Out this July

The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion Pack

The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion will let your sims carve out their own little rural paradise.

If that’s your thing, that is – we’d like to actually be able to walk down to the shops and stock up on cheap energy drinks. But if horse-rearing is your ideal life, The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion could be for you.

The existence of the expansion was leaked a few days ago but now EA has confirmed that, yes, you’ll be able to embrace the rural life as a ranch owner. It’s not just horses, though – you can milk goats, hold barn-dances and so on.

As for the ranch’s equine residents, you can train them to win competitions, resulting in awards and Simoleons, The Sims 4’s in-game currency. That all sounds pretty fantastic, right, especially if you’re an animal lover.

However, we just know some players are going to be… less than kind to their charges. We give it about a week until you’ve got My Little Glue Factory springing up on YouTube. We’re only half kidding – you just know someone’s going to be purchasing the expansion with this in mind.

You can learn more about the expansion pack on EA’s Sims 4 website. It’s set to arrive on PC and console this July 20th. And, based on previous expansion packs, you can expect it to cost £30 – £35.

Weekend Editor // Chris has been gaming since the days of the Acorn Electron, which was allegedly purchased to 'help him with his homework'. You can probably guess how well that went. He’ll tackle most genres – football titles aside – though he has a taste for games that that are post-apocalyptic, horror-oriented or thought provoking in nature.
