It’s been two years since Terminator: Resistance arrived on PlayStation 5 and it’s finally getting an Xbox Series X|S release.
The last gen version of Terminator: Resistance launched in 2019, but only the PlayStation 5 received a next-generation upgrade. Now, developer Teyon and publisher Reef Entertainment are set to remedy that.
This September 27th sees the release of an Xbox Series X|S version of Terminator: Resistance. It’ll be available to those who have an Xbox Series X|S and a digital copy of the original. If you’ve got a physical copy you’ll only be able to upgrade on Xbox Series X, due to the S’s lack of a disk drive. The upgrade will include the Infiltration Mode which sees you playing as a Terminator.
Reef is also putting out a complete edition this October 27th, which will include the Annihilation Line DLC. It’ll be available as a boxed and digital edition, with an upgrade path for those who own the Xbox One game. It won’t be free but you can upgrade for £11.99 / €14.49 / $14.49.
Hang on a minute.. isn’t that the actual price of the Annihilation Line DLC on PlayStation? Yes, it is, though the PlayStation DLC is currently on sale. The ‘upgrade path’ seems to boil down to just buying the DLC. Still, it’s about time we got a next-gen Xbox version.
