These Pizza-Scented TMNT: Mutant Mayhem Xbox Controllers Are Not to Be Sniffed At

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem TMNT

These TMNT Xbox controllers are scented and, even better, they don’t smell like a sewer.

Instead, these TMNT controllers, made to mark the release of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie smell like pizza. They come with a built in scent diffuser that you can refill.

Yes, you can refill it with pizza scent or any other smell of your choice. We’re still bitter over that Masters of the Universe Stinkor toy we got. It smelt for maybe half a year then just sort of faded out. Luckily, these controllers are more than just smelly plastic. That’s the good news.

The bad news is that you can’t just buy these, you’ll have to enter Microsoft’s competition in order to get one of these niffy devices. But, on the plus side, this is a worldwide competition, people outside the US are eligible.

There are four controllers, each themed after a different Ninja Turtle. You can’t win all four, unless you are supernaturally lucky. Each prize winner will get one controller, three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and a bottle of pizza scent to fill the dispenser.

So, if you’re playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, you can get a blast of delicious pizza. And if you’re playing with someone you don’t like? Microsoft probably won’t approve but there are sorts of nastier scents available to purchase, if you know where to look.

You can find out how to enter the competition here. As for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie, it hits cinemas this August 4th.

Weekend Editor // Chris has been gaming since the days of the Acorn Electron, which was allegedly purchased to 'help him with his homework'. You can probably guess how well that went. He’ll tackle most genres – football titles aside – though he has a taste for games that that are post-apocalyptic, horror-oriented or thought provoking in nature.
