Koira is an Upcoming Hand-Drawn Adventure, and It Looks Beautiful

Koira announcement

Freshly revealed by publisher Don’t Nod, Koira is a hand-drawn adventure in development by Studio Tolma.

Yes, that Don’t Nod, the one behind the original Life is Strange and Vampyr. Alongside development, the studio is now publishing games from smaller studios: alongside Koira, it’s also publishing mountain-climbing game Jusant, which is expected later this year.

In Koira, players take control of a forest spirit who, accompanied by her adorable puppy, must overcome the dangers of the world around them. It’s the art style that has really captured our attention, though: the short trailer is absolutely beautiful, and we can’t wait to see more of it.

Watch the reveal trailer of Koira below:

We’re going to be waiting a while though. Koira is freshly announced, and still has a long way to go in development. Currently, it’s scheduled for a 2025 release, and is set to launch only on Steam.

Still, it’s one to keep on our radars: we love a good emotional adventure, especially one that looks as delightful as this.

You can wishlist Koira on Steam to keep up with its updates.
