Park Beyond is Getting a Big, Free Update in September

Park Beyond preview

Update 2.0 is landing in Park Beyond on 29th September, bringing big changes and performance improvements to Limbic Entertainment’s park building sim.

Released in June of this year, we’ve had a great time playing Park Beyond. If you’re a fan of theme park sims, like the classic Theme Park World and Planet Coaster, there’s a lot to love here. Developer Limbic Entertainment has done a stellar job in finding a balance between simplicity and depth, allowing players to get deep into the nitty-gritty of design if they want – or simply drag and drop to create a detailed park.

And things are only going to get better. On 29th September, Park Beyond update 2.0 will drop, bringing new features, improved performance, redesigned missions and better modular building to the game.

One brand new feature will allow for parks and custom prefab designs to be shared with other users. That means you can grab other players’ designs if you’re not so creative yourself, allowing your parks to be even more detailed than ever. And if you are creatively-minded, you can show off your own designs with the rest of the world.

That’s not all. Along with update 2.0, Park Beyond is also getting its first DLC pack in September. Called Beyond eXtreme, it features two brand new missions and a new suite of rides and attractions. There are more than 250 new items in total, including two 90s-inspired flat rides, nine building prefabs and new roller coasters. Right on.

This won’t be the only update coming to Park Beyond, of course. Its roadmap – which you can view below – lays out two more updates coming in 2024. Spring and summer 2024 will both bring a wealth of new content to the game, giving us plenty of reason to keep playing.
