Samba de Amigo: Party Central Gets a DLC Roadmap

Samba De Amigo Party Central

Samba de Amigo: Party Central hopes to liven up people’s lives when it launches later this month. And with it post-launch DLC roadmap, it seeks to continue for some time after, too.

Bringing back an arcade classic, Samba de Amigo: Party Central will ask players to shake their Joy-Cons like maracas. It’s as fun as it sounds, especially when backed up with an eclectic choice of tracks to battle it out across with friends and family.

Over 40 songs will be included in the base game which launches on Switch on 29th August, including hits such as Pompeii by Bastille, Karma Chameleon by Culture Club, and TiK ToK by Kesha. And for those who want more, eight further music packs are planned for release post-launch. Three of these have now been detailed by SEGA, and the details can be found below.

August 29

  • Sonic the Hedgehog Music Pack
    • Open Your Heart from Sonic Adventure
    • Reach For The Stars (Re-Colors) from Sonic Colors: Ultimate
    • I’m Here from Sonic Frontiers
  • Japanese Music Pack
    • Kaikai Kitan by Eve
    • MATSUKEN SAMBA II by Ken Matsudaira
    • KING by Hatsune Miku

September 27

  • SEGA Music Pack
    • Baka Mitai (Taxi Driver Edition) from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio
    • Go Go Cheer Girl! from Space Channel 5: Part 2
    • Rhythm Thief Theme from Rhythm Thief & the Emperor’s Treasure

All of these DLC packs will be available for just £4.49/$4.99, and another pack will be released in September, too, the K-Pop music pack. The tracks included in that pack haven’t been revealed yet, however.

It’s worth noting that a Deluxe Edition of Samba de Amigo: Party Central will be available, which actually includes two of these DLC packs and more. Pick up Samba de Amigo: Party Central Deluxe Edition and you’ll have access to the Sonic the Hedgehog Music Pack, as well as the SEGA Music Pack when it launches in September. You’ll also get costume and accessory packs featured around Sonic The Hedgehog, Tails, Puyo Puyo, Space Channel 5, and Super Monkey Ball.

More information about Super Monkey Ball: Party Central is set to be revealed at we get closer to its launch, including details about its release on Meta Quest and Apple Arcade. We’ll do out best to keep you updated right here, or you can check out the game’s official website.
