Sea of Stars and Moving Out 2 Are Coming to PlayStation Plus on Day One This August

PlayStation Plus August

Sony has revealed the list of games landing in the PlayStation Plus game catalogue this August, including two brand new “day one” releases.

If you’re a PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium subscriber, you’ve got a horde of great games to look forward to this month. The day one releases come in the form of chaotic party game Moving Out 2, and classic-inspired turn-based RPG Sea of Stars. But there’s more than just those to look forward to.

Subscribers will also gain access to the following games:

  • Destiny 2: The Witch Queen
  • Lost Judgment
  • Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed
  • Two Point Hospital Jumbo Edition
  • Source of Madness
  • Cursed to Golf
  • Dreams
  • PJ Masks: Heroes of the Night
  • Hotel Transylvania: Scary-Tale Adventures
  • Lawn Mowing Simulator: Landmark Edition
  • Spellforce III Reforced
  • Midnight Fight Express

In addition, MediEvil: Resurrection, Ape Escape: On the Loose and Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice will be added to the Classics library, available exclusively to PlayStation Premium subscribers.

Lost Judgment, a spin-off from the Yakuza series, is not to be missed. We scored it an ‘outstanding’ 9/10 when we reviewed it back in 2021, we called it a “fine example of a sequel done right”. For something slightly offbeat, Cursed to Golf is an engaging roguelike adventure themed around mini-golf. It’s well worth jumping into if you fancy a side-scrolling challenge with a difference.

All titles will be available to play from 15th August, with Sea of Stars becoming available to play on the day it launches, 29th August.
