Broforce might be nearly eight years old, but that hasn’t stopped its developer, Free Lives, from giving it a muscular update.
Broforce Forever, as the game is now called, includes six new Bros for players to take control of. There’s Desperabro, for example, who uses the power of music to enchant enemies, Burt Brommer, a sniper with pinpoint accuracy, and even Xebro, Warrior Princess, who uses a flying chakram to strike terror into the heart of evildoers. Needless to say, they all make the game a little more fun.
But that’s not all that the Forever update adds to Broforce. As well as the additional Bros, there are bug fixes, new enemies, and new levels, making the game’s campaign bigger and better than ever. A smattering of challenge levels have been introduced, too, asking players to conquer troublesome temples as Indiana Brones. Conquer these, and new flexes can be unlocked that can be used by any Bro.
If you’ve already played Broforce then you know it’s an action-packed run ‘n’ gun that’s huge amounts of fun played alone or with others. And if not, well, there’s never been a better time to jump in.
Broforce Forever is essentially the ultimate version of the game, and the update is free, which makes it even sweeter. It’s available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC, and if you act quick you can pick it up on the last format for a bargain price. Broforce Forever is just £2.25 on Steam if you pick it up before 6pm BST today, so get on it.
