A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem Game is on the Way

Mutant Mayhem

Have you seen Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem yet? You should, because it’s really good. It offers a fresh new take on the heroes in a half shell, and is a fun watch no matter your age. There’s another reason to watch it now, too: a videogame based on the movie is set to release on PC and consoles next year. It’s essentially a sequel, in fact.

The as-yet untitled game is set in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem universe, and takes places months after the events of the movie. Thankfully it’s going to sport the same ultra-stylish art style, and will find the turtles fighting a new mutant threat in order to save New York. As you’d expect, the action is described as energetic, and there’s set to be a great deal of humour, too. It all sound pretty good in our book.

Our only concern so far is that we don’t know who’s developing the title, although Outright Games is on publishing duties. Regardless, we can’t wait to see what becomes of the title – while watching the film, we did think that it would make a great videogame.

We should note that it’s not the only videogame based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles currently in development – The Last Ronin by Black Forest Games and THQ Nordic was officially announced just weeks ago. And if you want some turtles action right now, we have just the list for you.
