UFC 5 is on its way, and ahead of its major reveal later this week, its cover stars have been named.
That’s right; rather than just having one cover star, UFC 5 has multiple. Pick up the standard edition of the game and you’ll find it adorned with both Alexander the Great, otherwise known as Alexander Volkanovski, and Bullet Valentina, real name Valentina Shevchenko. We’re pretty sure that fans of both of these hard-hitting fighters will be thrilled.
Those who pick up the Deluxe Edition of UFC 5, however, will find that it features The Last Stylebender, Israel Adesanya, on the cover instead. Does that affect your decision on what version to pick up? Perhaps the more pertinent question is: what do you get by picking up the Deluxe Edition? That’s something we’ll have to wait to find out. In any case, this is the second time that Israel Adesanya has featured on the cover of a UFC game – he also appeared on the cover of UFC 4, alongside Jorge Masvidal.

What’s particularly interesting about the cover reveals this time around is that photos of the stars aren’t used. So, are these the in-game models? We’ll have to wait until 7th September when more information about UFC 5 will be announced to find out for sure. Regardless, it’s a good time to be a UFC fan, what with a new game on the way. Thanks to the power of next-gen consoles, this could be the hardest-hitting entry in the series yet. Tune into the UFC 5 reveal on YouTube at 4pm BST on 7th September to find out more.
