How to Save Your Game in Fae Farm

Fae Farm

Here, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about how to save your game in Fae Farm. After all, you don’t want to lose any precious progress.

Fae Farm is one of those beautiful games that actually allows you to create a manual save. Not many do these days, instead asking us to rely on an autosave system. That’s all well and good, but there’s something special about the knowledge that you’ve definitely saved your game before you quit. And how to save your game in Fae Farm is as easy as opening up the menu.

Press the start/menu button on your controller, or escape on keyboard, and you’ll bring up Fae Farm’s main menu. In there, on the left side of the second row from the bottom, you’ll find a ‘save’ option. Click this wherever you are in the game past the opening section, and your progress will be saved. It’s as simple as that!

As simple as it is, though, Fae Farm never explicitly tells you how to save your game. The option is also not available until you’ve completed the introduction to the game, so you may need to play through 30 minutes or so before the option opens up for you.

If you do forget to save manually before quitting, though, you shouldn’t lose too much progress: the game automatically saves at key moments and at the start of every new day. But just to be on the safe side, get into the habit of hitting the ‘save’ option each time before you quit.
