We love Lake. There’s something so relaxing about spending time in its beautiful, quaint world, doing nothing but delivering letters and parcels to residents. It’s almost completely free of stress, and somehow, our worries simply sank away as we got behind the wheel of our delivery truck.
There’s a new reason to revisit the wonderful little town of Providence Oaks, though, and this time there’ll be a coating of snow over the picturesque lakeside streets. Lake: Season’s Greetings again tasks us with delivering to the residents of the time, with a Christmas twist.
Rather than taking control of Meredith Weiss, in Season’s Greetings, players will step into the shoes of her father. You may remember that Lake’s story saw Meredith covering her dad’s job for two weeks while he was on holiday. Well, now he’s back in the job he’s familiar with, and you’ll be helping him deliver important Christmas packages.
Just like the main game, Lake: Season’s Greetings will give you the opportunity to get to know the residents of Providence Oaks – and there are five completely new characters to meet.
This cosy Christmas DLC for Lake is only a month away, too: the release date has been set for 15th November. It’ll be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox and PC – and of course you’ll need the base game to play.
