This Week, An Xbox Partner Preview Showcase Will Give Us a Look at Some Third Party Xbox Games

Tune in this Wednesday.

Xbox Partner Preview

Put Wednesday 25th October at 6pm BST in your diary: Microsoft is holding an Xbox Partner Preview stream that will give us a look at some upcoming third-party games.

Keep your expectations in check, however. There aren’t going to be any first party Xbox Studios announcements here, and our press release from Microsoft made it very clear that no information related to the acquisition of Activision Blizzard would appear at the showcase. This is purely about third-party games coming to Xbox in the near future.

Still, there are plenty of exciting upcoming games. The announcement on Xbox Wire reveals that we’ll get a new look at Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Ark: Survival Ascended, Dungeons of Hinterberg and a launch trailer for Alan Wake 2. There’ll be some other stuff too – although with just over 20 minutes of trailers, it’s not going to be the most packed showcase we’ve ever seen.

Still, we’ll be turning in and looking forward to getting our eyes on some upcoming games – as well as some new titles making their way to Game Pass soon.

You can watch on Xbox’s official YouTube channel or via Twitch. And, of course, we’ll have any interesting announcements rounded up right here.

Editor in chief // Kim's been into video games since playing Dizzy on her brother's Commodore 64 as a nipper. She'll give just about anything a go, but she's got a particular soft spot for indie adventures. If she's not gaming, she'll be building Lego, reading a thriller, watching something spooky or... asleep. She does love to sleep.
