Are you wondering about the importance of food and energy in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora? Here’s everything you need to know.

You have two meters at the bottom of your screen in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora that you need to keep an eye on. One is your health, and the other is your energy. If your health depletes, it’s game over. If your energy depletes, however, it’s not quite as drastic – but you should still strive to keep it topped up.

What is energy used for?

If you run out of energy, you’ll still be able to run and jump around, so it’s not as critical as your health meter. But without energy, your health will not automatically regenerate if you get hurt – which can mean the difference between life and death.

How to replenish your energy in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

Your energy can be replenished by eating food. You can eat raw food materials that you find – such as fruit and meat – but you can also cook with those ingredients to make more fulfilling dishes. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has a cooking system a little like Breath of the Wild: throw together any ingredients, and see what you get! You’ll rarely go wrong, and each dish you create will have its own buffs.

You can only hold a limited amount of food items, so ensure what’s in your inventory is worthwhile. You can also store stuff in your stash – which can be accessed at any major hub, such as the Hometree.
