Are you wondering if Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has a photo mode? We have good news: it does! Here’s how to access it and use it.

There’s no obvious way to access the photo mode in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Because of that, it’s easy to assume there isn’t one at all. But there is; Ubisoft has just done a strangely good job of hiding it. To open up photo mode, press options. From there, press left on the d-pad to bring up the system menu. Within the system menu you’ll see the ‘Photo Mode’ option.

Select photo mode, and you’ll instantly be taken to a new camera which you can control independently of your character. That means you can place your character within your images if you want. There are the usual controls here, including zoom, tilt and pan, allowing you to set up your shot perfectly.

Pressing Y/triangle within photo mode will bring up editing options. From there you can change the emotion of your character, change the time of day, apply a filter and tinker with contrast/exposure settings.

When you’re ready to take a photo, press the menu button to get rid of the UI and use your preferred method of taking a screenshot. Voila: a wonderful photo of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora for you to treasure!
