If you like tidying stuff up and finding patterns in the ordinary, you’re probably going to love A Little to the Left. It’s been available for some time on PC and Switch – and we absolutely lapped it up in our review – but now A Little to the Left is making its way to PlayStation and Xbox. Finally.

When we reviewed A Little to the Left, we called it “a breath of fresh air and exactly the sort of wholesome game we need more of.” More than a year later, we still stand by that sentiment. This is a puzzle game at its core, focused around tidying up and sorting out household objects into pleasant arrangements. Maybe you’ll be organising the cupboard under the sink, or arranging pencils. What we love is that many of the puzzles here have more than one solution. Prefer to sort by colour rather than size? Maybe there’s a solution for both!

If, like us, you’ve been waiting for the game to land on PlayStation or Xbox, we’ve got good news: it’s just two weeks away. A Little to the Left lands on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on 15th February. A nice post-Valentine’s day treat, as the press release says.

Better yet, if you’re an Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pas subscriber, you’ll be able to play A Little to the Left as part of your subscription. Huzzah!

Alongside the release of the base game of A Little to the Left, players on PlayStation and Xbox will also be able to purchase the Cupboards & Drawers DLC. Expanding the game by adding more delicious puzzles – focusing, unsurprisingly, on cupboards and drawers – it’s a worthwhile addition. There’s an extra 26 puzzles in total, adding a number of hours extra playtime.

So: mark 15th February on your calendar if you want to sink your teeth into a wonderfully cosy puzzle game on console. You won’t regret it.
