A Meaty Update is Coming to Cult of the Lamb in Sins of the Flesh, Landing 16th January

Cult of the Lamb: Sins of the Flesh

We love it when our favourite games get new content. It’s even better when that new content is meaty, and better yet when it’s free. Cult of the Lamb’s Sins of the Flesh update ticks all those boxes, and it’s coming next week. On 16th January, you’re going to have a whole host of new reasons to jump back into Cult of the Lamb.

Sins of the Flesh is the biggest update to Cult of the Lamb yet. It brings new quests, new features, new progression systems a new resource and a variety of improvements to the game – and we’re excited to jump into it all.

The lives of your cult followers are set to be improved with new buildings and a new tier for the Janitor Station and Storage Structures. Your cult can also produce Shiny poop, which has a number of special effects.

You’ll also find a new weapon in the Blunderbuss, which fires a large amount of damage in close quarters.

The new update comes alongside the news that Cult of the Lamb has sold more than 3.5 million copies since its launch in 2022. That’s some seriously good-going.

In our Cult of the Lamb review, we called it “cute but morbid”, going on to say it’s one of the most innovative indie games we’ve played. Almost two years later, it’s a sentiment we stand by – and this level of support means the game has only got better since launch.

If you’re somehow yet to jump into this devilishly good roguelike, you can currently save 40% via Humble. What are you waiting for?
