New Gaming Platform Funtico Shows Off Its First Game, Heroes of the Citadel, at Taipei Game Show

There’s a new gaming ‘ecosystem’ on the block. It’s called Funtico and, we quote, “it aims to bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3 gaming”. It’s designed to offer a range of games to suit all tastes, covering a wide range of genres and everything from the tiniest indie game to the biggest AAA.

As a gaming platform, Funtico believes that your skill should turn into prizes. You should be able to truly own your in-game items and progression within games should be something to be proud of.

Funtico’s team believes that the gaming industry’s continuous evolution calls for something “beyond technological skill” that will truly stand out amongst the crowd. It believes that foresight, vision, innovation and a commitment to creating ageless experiences are what is necessary. And so, Funtico was born: it has the vision to become Web3’s most gamer-centric platform. Funtico carries three main principles: timeless fun, smooth gameplay and worthwhile rewards.

Sounds good? The first game from Funtico is Heroes of the Citadel, revealed today during the Taipei Game Show. An adventure game, players will find themselves in the magical world of Entagon. Strategy, resource management and clever decision making are all equally important here if you want to save the world from the evil forces of Vorak.

Heroes of the Citadel promises to offer a captivating and challenging experience, where players can conquer Entagon in the auto-battler campaign, or team up with other players in the PvP arena. It’s available to wishlist on Steam now and coming soon.
