Are you wondering how to save your game in Palworld? You’re not alone – here’s everything you need to know.

Bad news: there’s no ‘save game’ option to be found anywhere in Palworld. There’s nothing in the menu, and there’s nothing when you interact with any permanent structure in the game. But don’t worry: all is not lost. The good news is that you can save at any time: simply quit, and your game in Palworld will be saved.

The bad news is that you don’t get the comfort of being able to save whenever you feel like it. But it’s not all bad: Palworld has a robust autosave system. If you – god forbid – should have a powercut or a system crash, you might lose a bit of progress, but it should never be more than a few minutes. The game is constantly saving in the background.

We’d still recommend exercising caution, however. Make sure you quit back to the main menu every time you exit the game – this will ensure a full save. Whatever you do, don’t simply close the game as you’ll likely lose a few minutes’ progress.

If you do lose progress? Well, there’s nothing to do other than keep playing and regain everything you’ve lost. That’s just the way it goes, unfortunately!
