RoboCop: Rogue City Update Adds New Game + and More

Robocop: Rogue City review

Developer Teyon has made quite a name for itself in the last few years. First it delivered us what is perhaps the best game based on the Terminator franchise. And if that wasn’t quite enough, it followed up with a surprisingly excellent action-packed delve into the world of RoboCop.

Honestly, if you’ve not yet played RoboCop: Rogue City yet and have any interest in the character or first-person shooters in general, you should really give it a chance. And thanks to an update, it’s just got even better.

The latest update for RoboCop: Rogue City, available now, adds a New Game + mode, allowing players to play through the game again at a higher difficulty with tougher enemies while keeping the experience they’ve gained. That’s not all it adds, either. A new “There will be trouble” difficulty level is also included in the update, as well as a gold skin for the Auto-9, making it snazzier than ever.

For those who want even more of an incentive to jump in now that the update has landed, how about 3 new OCP motherboards with which to upgrade the Auto-9, as well as five new chips? There are 3 new Achievements/Trophies to nab, too. All in all, those are some pretty good additions – all for the grand old price of free.

Need convincing to jump into the game at all? In our review, we said “fans of RoboCop are likely to love Rogue City, though it’s also likely to prove appealing to those who simply like shooting up bad guys with reckless abandon.”
