Find out how to complete The Arisen’s Shadow quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

After spending some time in the town of Vernworth, you’ll eventually pick up the quest The Arisen’s Shadow. It appears that someone is stalking you from a distance, and so it’s down to you to apprehend the person in question and deal with them. So, how do you complete The Arisen’s Shadow quest?

The Arisen’s Shadow can be quite a tricky quest to complete in Dragon’s Dogma 2, as you stalker is quite elusive. What you need to do is keep an eye out for a hooded figure in the eastern area of the merchant district that runs away when you approach. He also shouts “You…” a lot. When you spot him, chase him down. Then, when you get close to him, grab with with the right trigger to pin him to the ground before asking him some questions.

With your stalker apprehended, they’ll plead for you to let them go. You have two options: refuse, or demand compensation. The choice is yours; accept the bribe and the quest will end there and then, but if you refuse, or listen to their bribery offer then decide against it, you’ll have to fight your stalker. Upon beating them, Brant should step in and arrest them. He’ll then tell you to return in a few days to see what information he’s been able to get out of them. Do so, and he’ll tell you what he’s found, ending the quest.

It’s possible that you can kill the stalker, without Brant stepping in to arrest him. If you do this, you might have to make use of a Wakestone to revive your attacker, who’s called Bermudo, in order to complete The Arisen’s Shadow quest, so be careful.
