House Flipper 2

House Flipper 2 gets a free spring update — and a slight console delay

Let’s start with the bad news first. The console release of House Flipper 2, originally due on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S later this month, has been pushed back. Thankfully, it’s only by a couple of weeks: it’s now launching on 10th April.

Presumably, this is to allow developers Frozen District time to add the spring update – a newly-announced free expansion that adds a tonne of new content to the game. If you’ve got House Flipper 2 on PC, we’ve got great news: it’s available right now. Absolutely free.

Along with a bunch of new items, the spring update also adds improved mechanics, new projects and new house buyers. You can expect new curtains and flooring, pillows and a ladder. To make your homes ultra-cosy, you can now add fire to fireplaces and decorate with candles.

Furthermore, in Flipper Mode you can now resize objects to make them fit better into any space, and you can sell stairs and roofs directly within the campaign. Oh, and your character can now have a snooze in a bed. Flipping houses is tiring work, you know.
