Want to use emotes to entertain (or annoy) your fellow players in South Park: Snow Day? Here’s how to use them.

Emotes don’t really have any purpose in South Park: Snow Day. Mainly, they allow you to communicate with your teammates if you’re playing online with other players. Although by “communicate” we pretty much mean “mess around and annoy each other”. Rather than offering useful commands, most emotes here involve silly dances.

If you do want to use any of the emotes in South Park: Snow Day, it’s very easy. Simply press ‘up’ on your controller’s d-pad. That will bring up the emote wheel, which shows all available emotes. Choose which on you want, and your character will start going through the motions.

You can customise what emotes you have available by heading to the game’s main menu (press the touchpad on PS5, or the ‘view’ button on an Xbox controller). You can also buy more using your in-game currency by visiting the shop in Kupa Keep.

That’s all you need to know. Good luck not actually getting anything done, ’cause you’ll now be too busy doing funny little dances everywhere you go instead.
