Little Kitty, Big City looks like Stray meets Untitled Goose Game

Give us a game where we’re put in control of a cute animal and we’re happy. We’re simple like that. Which is perhaps why we’re rather excited about Little Kitty, Big City, developed by Double Dagger Studio and just shown off during today’s Nintendo Indie World.

Described as a mini open-world adventure, in Little Kitty, Big City you’re in control of a cute black cat that must find its way home. Although it’ll no doubt be more fun if you make time for some chaos along the way. As you explore a Japan-inspired city you’ll find other animals in need of your assistance, and will have plenty of opportunities to mess with the locals. Ultimately, it looks very much like a cross between Stray and Untitled Goose Game.

To make your time with Little Kitty, Big City even more saccharine sweet, you’ll even be able to unlock a wide range of adorable hats for your cat, making them even cuter. The best news is that we don’t have long to wait to get our hands on Little Kitty, Big City – it’s set to launch on 9th May.

And while the announcement was made during Nintendo Indie World, the title is also making its way to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Steam on the same day. It’s launching into Game Pass, too.
