It’s been nearly three years since No More Heroes and its sequel finally landed on PC. And while they were received with open arms, the ports were unfortunately of questionable quality. A surprise patch has just landed for No More Heroes, however, which should go some way to making this the ultimate version of the game it should be.

With the latest No More Heroes update installed on PC, players will now find that keyboard and mouse support has finally made it into the game. For those playing with a controller, key rebinding is now possible, too. These two things alone are fantastic additions, but there’s more.

No More Heroes will now have no problems running when in offline mode, for example, and a handful of achievements that wouldn’t unlock properly before should now be fixed. Add in numerous bug fixes, and No More Heroes on PC is unquestionably improved.

There’s good news when it comes to the PC version of No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle as well. While there’s no timeline for it, it appears there’s also a patch in the works for that, too. So, eventually, PC should finally be the best place to play the entirety of the No More Heroes series. It’s just going to take some more time.
