Rejoice! We’re getting a horror film series tie-in that’s not an asymmetrical multiplayer game. A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is inspired by Paramount Pictures’ critically-acclaimed blockbuster film franchise. And, developed by Stormind Games, it’s a single-player, first-person horror experience that will launch on PC and consoles later this year. So, there’s not too long to wait.

In A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, players will unravel an original story, taking control of a young survivor in a dangerous post-apocalyptic world. Of course, keeping quiet so as to not attract the attention of predatory creatures will be pivotal, and so you’ll need to sneak around, hide, and distract your adversaries where necessary in order to survive. Make any noise that gives your position away and chances are you’re going to be in a whole heap of trouble.

We’re expecting a tense experience from A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, then; a game where we really need to think about our actions and consider them before doing anything rash. Stormind Games aren’t new to the horror genre, either, with its first title, Remothered: Tormented Fathers, having become somewhat a cult classic. Its follow up, Remothered: Broken Porcelain wasn’t as well received, however.

Check out the reveal trailer for A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead below. It doesn’t have a firm release date just yet, but it will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
