Autopsy Simulator, a tool wheel over a body.

How many chapters and autopsies does Autopsy Simulator have?

Here’s everything you need to know about how many chapters Autopsy Simulator has, as well as how many autopsies you’ll do.

Autopsy Simulator is out now and, as the title suggests, you’ll be doing autopsies to uncover someone’s cause of death. But just how many chapters does it have? And how many autopsies are there? The answer is that there are five chapters with five autopsies.

However, it’s not quite that straightforward. Each of Autopsy Simulator’s five chapters has one autopsy, but you don’t get far with the final autopsy. I won’t say why, for fear of spoiling the story, but you only get to do four complete autopsies.

That might not seem like an awful lot, but there are a couple of things to bear in mind. First of all, there’s more going on than just the autopsies. This game is a horror/sim mash-up, so there are spooky elements to the game.

So, you might find the lights go out and you have to go downstairs and sort the whole situation out. Beware of things lurking in the dark, that’s all we’re going to say. Or you might need a piece of equipment and it could be in another room.

Secondly, there’s a new game mode in the works which will let you engaging in randomised autopsies, so that will, in theory, let you perform autopsies infinitely. As is, without that mode, you can finish the game in about four hours.

So, the answer to how many chapters and autopsies does Autopsy Simulator have is five chapters, about 45 minutes or so each, and five autopsies, though you only get to complete four.
