Sony has just revealed the suite of games that PS Plus Extra and Premium customers have to look forward to this month. There’s a handful of great games coming to the service, but the highlight is undoubtedly the excellent Monster Hunter Rise.

Available on PS Plus Extra from 18th June, Monster Hunter Rise allows players to embark on an epic and fantastical quest, taking down hulking beasts either alone or with the help of friends. In our review last year, we called this “the best Monster Hunter game yet”. High praise. High praise indeed.

And Monster Hunter Rise isn’t alone in decorating PS Plus Extra and Premium. There’s a great selection of simulation, strategy, sport and adventure games to look forward to, which we’ve listed below:

  • Football Manager 2024 (PS5)
  • Crusader Kings III (PS5)
  • Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 6 (PS4 and PS5)
  • After Us (PS5)
  • Anno 1800 (PS5)
  • Police Simulator: Patrol Officers (PS4 and PS5)
  • Far Cry 4 (PS4)
  • LEGO The Hobbit (PS4)
  • LEGO The Incredibles (PS4)

After Us deserves a special mention: it’s a surreal adventure-platformer set in a world that’s been destroyed by humans, and we had a great time playing it when it released last May (even if it did remind us that humans are bad, actually).

If you’ve got PS Plus Premium — the highest tier of PlayStation’s subscription service — you’ve got even more to look forward to. PSVR 2 players can jump into Kayak VR: Mirage, and classic games LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, Ghosthunter and Daxter will all be playable — in an enhanced form — on PS4 and PS5.

You can read more about this month’s PS Plus additions on the PlayStation blog.
