Doronko Wanko walkthrough: Full completion guide

Out now on Switch as well as PC, Doronko Wanko is an adorable game about creating as much mess as possible while in control of a dog. Literally translating to ‘muddy puppy’, Doronko Wanko has you rolling in mud, spraying it around the house, knocking stuff off, and generally causing as much carnage as possible. This isn’t a very long game, but our Doronko Wanko walkthrough will ensure you don’t miss anything as you go around creating mischief.

To reach the ending of Doronko Wanko, there are 12 hidden pomeranian images to find. You’ll uncover these by spraying mud and mess in certain areas. Once you’ve found all 12 images, a locked door will unlock, allowing you to access a new area and, ultimately, end the game.

This very short guide reveals the locations of each pom portrait, and occasionally, the short puzzle steps that need to be completed in order to unlock it. We’d recommend you still spend time wandering around and creating as much mess as possible, though: your success in the game is measured by the amount of damage you cause!

Doronko Wanko walkthrough: Pomeranian picture locations

1. Near the front door

Simply create mess near the front door, at the bottom of the stairs, and the first pomeranian image will appear.

2. In the kitchen

Knock over green cans in the kitchen and spread around the mess to reveal the next pomeranian portrait.

3. In the living room

You’ll find this pomeranian picture on the wall. You won’t be able to reach it simply by shaking off mud, so first turn on the fan. Shake off mud just in front of the fan, and it’ll fly up to the wall.

Note: If the fan isn’t there, you’ll need to create a bit more destruction first: Every item is behind a progress wall, but as long as you’re constantly making a mess, you should unlock everything with no real problem.

4. In the wine cellar

You’ll find the wine cellar through the kitchen and down some steps. Simply knock over some wine bottles and spread mess over the floor to unlock this pomeranian portrait.

5. In the office area

Head through the wine cellar into a downstairs sitting/living area. There’s a small office just off this. Make some mess on the floor to reveal the next pom portrait.

6. Hallway behind the kitchen

Just behind the kitchen is a small hallway/pantry. Spread some mud (or wine) here to reveal the next pomeranian portrait.

7. Mezzanine above the bedroom

Head up the stairs, and find another small set of stairs near the bedroom and some boxes to climb up to reach this ‘mezzanine’ level right at the top of the house.

8. Outside the locked door

Head down the stairs near the main front door — this is where the secret locked door is, and where you’ll need to head once all pomeranian images have been found. You don’t need to do anything special here: just make a mess!

9. Near side door

Head over to the far side of the house downstairs, away from the main front door. You’ll find this side corridor, with what looks like a side door. There’s a pomeranian image here – simply make a mess on the floor.

10. In the blocked-off room accessed via the train

Up the main stairs, you’ll see a toy train that isn’t moving. Next to it is a small area that’s blocked off with cardboard boxes. Once you start the train in motion — done by finding all the train’s wheels and fixing them back in place — it will knock down these boxes. Just inside on the train’s track is a small pom image.

Where to find the train wheels in Doronko Wanko

To complete Doronko Wanko, you need to set the train in motion, and that means finding three missing wheels. Each one will appear once you’ve caused enough mess in the house.

  • The first is in the kitchen, on the worktop.
  • The second is right by the train.
  • The third is in the wine cellar.

Pick up each wheel and take it to the train to attach it. Once all three wheels have been replaced, the train will automatically start moving.

11. In the wine cellar

Drop down into the wine cellar by using the ‘escape hatch’ in the small room you access via setting the train in motion. This will put you on top of a wine shelf. Make your way around the room until you reach a big button on the wall. Press it, and chaos will break loose in the wine cellar, revealing another pomeranian image on the wall.

12. Upstairs, on a support beam

The last one is the hardest to spot, we think. Head upstairs near the train track. Look up, and there’s a support beam running towards the ceiling. There’s a fan near the train track that you need to set in motion. Spraying mud just in front of it will send it up to the wall, revealing the pom image.

And that’s it! Now you’ve revealed all 12 pomeranian images, you can go down and unlock the secret door. Once you’ve interacted with the cake, the game will end, so make sure you’ve done everything you want to do first.
