Escape Simulator 2: The Lost Starship Hibernation Pods walkthrough

While there’s an on-screen time limit for finishing a level in Escape Simulator 2, you don’t automatically lose if it times out. So read on for our Escape Simulator 2 The Lost Starship Hibernation Pods walkthrough, and don’t worry if you take too long.

Opening the capsule

Opening the lockers

• Take the power core from the first open locker.
• Open locker 2 (Mira) with the code 1638. (The orange button has a message mentioning a 3D model, and the 3D model near the couch gives you the pattern.)
• Take the keycard from locker 2.
• Open locker 3 (Tarin) with the code 3864. (Open the second capsule to find a piece of paper indicating which segment to press – 1 marks is the first number, 2 marks is the second number etc.).
• Take the power core from locker 3. You don’t need to worry about locker 4.

Opening the utility cabinet

Interact with the panel beneath the cupboard. You need to connect S1 to A, and S2 to B and C (the clue is on the pad to the right of the window). Click on any two sections to swap them, no matter where they are (this isn’t a sliding block puzzle).

The solution is below:

Take the screwdriver and power core.

Opening the airlock system door

You need to enter the code 47368 (found by wiping the dirty window), but you’ll have to change the buttons around first.

• Use the screwdriver on the two screws on the keypad.
• Open the keypad cover.
• Press these buttons:

• Close the keypad and push 41892 (effectively 47368).

Operating the med bed

• Insert the keycard below the appropriate screen.
• Insert the three power cores.
• Get the two cylinder med components from the airlock room and place them near the med bed.
• Get the two med components from the main room and place them near the med bed.
• Using the shapes on the med components, arrange the components to match the display on the screen (see image below).

• Hit ‘check’, lie down on the med bed and hit ‘Start Scan’.
• Hit ‘Manual Scan’ and move the scanner up and down, pausing when you get ‘detecting’. Do this three times.
• Choose ‘Initiate Match Detection’.
• Now, find the bacteria that appears in all three projections. It’s the one that’s round, with all suckers and no spikes (see below).

• Take the blue sample.

Getting into the captain’s room

• Put the blue med bed sample into the machine by the sofa.
• Find the letter blocks that match the lights at the edge of the socket, as well as each other, as pictured below:

• Press ‘Create Substance’.
• Press ‘Release Cure’.
• Stand in front of the scanner, past the Airlock System Door and hit ‘Start Scan’.

Open the fourth locker

Inside the new area, take the personal log on the wall, to find the clue for Liora’s perfect password system. The password is 4535 (the first two digits go up one each time, the third and fourth digits go down one).

Get and use the RFID scanner

Align the blocks on the panel, just inside the captains room, so the white shapes fit. The solution is to hit a down arrow then hit one of the buttons at the side, in this order:

Now, go around and scan all four RFID log points including the one in the fourth locker

Get the Captain’s keycard

Now, put the holograms in the correct positions (the crew log will help you). The positions are:

• The captain’s room: KAEL
• The sofa: MIRA
• By the hypersleep capsule: LIONA
• Kneeling down: TARIN
• Leave the other holograms as crossed out zeros.
• In the captain’s room, hit Check Holo Alignment

Find and make the Captain’s keyphrase

• You have the key card and can insert it but you’ll need the voice override. To discover what it is, decode the Captain’s Cryo Pod Descrambler puzzle by rotating and changing the lines to match the patterns, as below:

• Now, open the Captain’s cryo pod using code 930.
• Take his paper to the code, Override Four Alpha Bravo.
• Use the RFID device and, using the scissors, splice the audio to read: override for alpha bravo. Use the appropriate audio from logs 2, 4, 3, 4, 1, 3 in that order.
• Finally, use the keycard and then the RFID device to exit the door.
