After exiting deep sleep, Escape Simulator 2’s second The Lost Starship level takes you to the Bridge where, either solo or with your fellow crewmates, you’ve got to solve a host of challenging puzzles. But what if you get stuck? Are you doomed to spend forever in space? No, because we’ve got you covered with our Escape Simulator 2: The Lost Starship Bridge walkthrough.

We’ll tell you how to solve each one of this level’s puzzles, along with screenshots where you might need a little extra help. And, while you’ll see a timer ticking down, it’s not game over the moment it hits zero, so you can take your time. Read on, then, for our Escape Simulator 2: The Lost Starship Bridge walkthrough.

Finding Relay Alpha

The bridge, gorgeous as the view is, has seen better days. Start off by finding Relay Alpha on the screen at the bottom left of the bridge. The tablet you find nearby will give you a clue. You need to locate the missing constellations: Leo, Crux, Serpens and finally, Relay Alpha.

On the ‘Nav Data Missing’ screen, move the large circle until it’s the appropriate distance away from the other stars, using the data above, then hit Scan to find the missing constellations. Find the stars in the following order: Crux, Serpens, Leo. Then, find Relay Alpha.

The distance lines snap to the nearest constellation, so to find Crux you move the big circle until you’re attached to Corvus, Lynx and Proximo, then move around until you’ve got the exact distances. The lines may snap back to other objects, so this can be a bit fiddly. The good news is you don’t have to have the exact co-ordinates, just be near enough. Then, hit ‘scan’ to reveal the missing object. Here’s where you’ll find each object:

Fixing communications

Next, go to the ‘communications offine’ screen. Clicking on a square changes it to 0, 1 or empty. To solve the puzzle, every square needs to be 0 or 1. That’s the easy bit. The catch is that the sum of each four squares must match the red number in the middle, turning it green. You’ll find why that’s tricky when you try the puzzle.

Here’s the solution:

Calibrating the starcharts

Grab the three Starchart Drives from around the bridge, one on the floor front of the starcharts, one on top of the consoles, one underneath the consoles. Place them in the Starchart Database Backup slots, at the far right on the lower bridge. You’ll get these charts:

Now, take the activated Starchart Drives with you and, holding them one by one, move around the starchart until you find a set of stars that matches. Then, connect those stars by clicking on the stars in pairs.

Here’s the solution for each constellation.

Unlock the compartments

The starmap puzzle unlocks the energy distributor unlock the energy distribution panel, so this is your next stop. You’ll want to unlock two tool compartments, getting a fuse and a force tool.

Here’s what to do:

  • Zoom in on the console and, by clicking, move both blocks of emergency energy to battery A.
  • Using the energy distributor, follow the power lines on the floor and, by turning the circular points, direct power to the cabinet by the exit door (the one with a big red lock on it).
  • Take the force tool.
  • Go back to the console and put one block into A and one block into B. Then direct power to the locked cabinet on the lower right of the deck. This is a little trickier, so here’s the correct energy path.

  • Now, take the fuse from the cabinet.

Using the force tool

  • You need two more fuses, apart from the one you’ve got from the cabinet. Here’s how to get them.
  • Zoom in on the force tool and click the dial to pull.
  • Go to the upper deck, stand by the forcefield, and use the force tool to collect the fuse. The fuse will likely ping onto the floor at your feet. Pick it up.
  • Go to the lower deck and do the same. In both cases, the fuse is more or less in the middle of the screen.

Getting a space suit

  • Using the energy panel, assign two blocks of power to A.
  • Direct the power to the space suit dispenser.
  • Go to the space suit dispenser door and remove the two fuses.
  • Finally, arrange the fuses in the override order. The catch is that you’ll have to follow the wires from the panel to determine which socket is first in the order. Here’s the solution:

  • Go inside and hit Dispense Suit.

Align the solar panels

Now you have the suit you’re ready to restore more energy to the bridge. Here’s what to do:

  • Zoom in the force tool and set it to push.
  • Go outside and use the force tool to push all the objects away from the solar dishes.
  • Rotate the panels till they’re all at 100% – see the solution below:

Route auxiliary power

  • Go back into the ship and look at the auxillary power panel to get the code 5728.
  • Go back outside, down the debris staircase and into the vent and open the door to the auxilary power panel, picking up the wire connector as you go.
  • Input the ‘number’, one digit at a time. The way do this is by rotating the panels so that when you it input number, the power goes to the corresponding number of circles.
  • Finally, hit check code.

Open the last compartment

You now need to open the last locked compartment, the one by the nav data panel. It requires six blocks of power, so assign three blocks to A and B and direct it to the cabinet. This is an easy enough task. Now, take the wire connector.

Fix the plasma cables

Here’s how to fix the plasma cable problem.

  • Go down the debris stairs outside, take the first right and take the 2/3 wire connector from the tube.
  • Now, install all the wire connectors – 1/3 at the top, 2/3 at the bottom and 3/3 in the middle.
  • Go back into the ship and hit ‘open plasma container’ on the plasma container screen RW-785.

You now have to rotate the shapes so that when they spring together the plasmid distance is within a specific range, slotting into each other as appropriate. The first, a plasmid distance of less than 9, is easy to accomplish, but the other two are trickier. Here are the solutions for the last two.

This takes a little trial and error, but we have the solutions.

Plasmid distance 8:35 to 8:50:

Plasmid distance more than 10:30:

The trick to this one is to have the blocks turned diagonally.

Activating the tractor field

One major job, as mentioned in the note you can pick up earlier, is to tractor in the mystery object for energy, but first you have to activate the tractor field. You now have an extra bank of energy, plasma energy, so you need to route power to the tractor beam area, formerly the star map area.

  • Fill up A, B and C with energy.
  • Direct the energy to the ‘Tractor Beam Offline’ area using the energy distributor. Here’s how the wires should be arranged.

Aligning the tractor field

Now, you have to align the tractor field, by tweaking all the power points till they’re positive. If you press a point it will change from negative to positive and vice versa, and any points it is connected to via an outgoing arrow will also change.

Here’s the solution from the puzzle’s starting position:

Opening the final door

Now, you have all the power you need. Assign full power to A, B, C and D and direct all the power to the door with the red lock. If you’re stuck at 9/12, make sure the far right wire is pointing towards the door.

Open the door and you’re free – until the next level at least.
