How to complete Belle, Book and Candle in Disney Dreamlight Valley
If you’ve completed the quest called A Growing Mystery in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll have unlocked Belle, Book and Candle. This is the third part of the questline that you’ll need to finish in order to get Lumiere and Cogsworth to come to your valley. And if you’re not sure what to do, our guide will walk you through every stage of Belle, Book and Candle.
In order to start Belle, Book and Candle in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you need to be in the Beauty and the Beast realm. If you’re not already there, you can either fast travel, or head to the castle to go through the appropriate warp gate. Once you’re there, talk to Lumiere: you’ll find him near the piano close to the entrance.
1. Replace items around the castle
Lumiere will give you three items: a candelabra, a stone lion and a globe. Look for sparkling points to place them: the first is in the corridor just to the side of you. Follow the corridor to find the second, and the third is in the main room.
Pick up the two items that drop, then go and talk to Lumiere.
2. Find a book for Lumiere
Go to the Beast’s room (where the magic rose is) to find the book that Lumiere wants. Interact with it, then return to Lumiere.
3. Repair the book
The book is in bad condition, and before you can use it, you need to repair it. Maybe Belle can help? Leave the Beauty and the Beast realm and head to the Beast’s house in your Valley. Talk to the Beast (if you find him in the world, you won’t have the correct dialogue options).
Go to a crafting bench and make a repaired domestic manual.
Return to the Beauty and the Beast realm and talk to Lumiere. Put the book on the stand just behind Lumiere, then pick up the key that drops to the floor.
Talk to Lumiere again. Pick up the two items – a mask and an invite – then talk to Lumiere one final time.
That’s it – you’re finished with the Belle, Book and Candle quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. All that’s left is ‘A Guide to Better Castle Keeping’, and once you’re done with that, you’ll have unlocked Lumiere and Cogsworth. Good luck!
