Lost Wiki: Kozlovka walkthrough – Full guide and solutions
Developed largely by one person, Lost Wiki: Kozlovka is a puzzling narrative game that has you making your way around a 90s computer database, jumping from one information page to another. By using the information provided to you, you’ll need to fill in the blanks in a number of emails you’re sending to a correspondent. To do so, you’ll need to unlock certain bits of information and make sense of everything you’re reading. It’s sometimes a little tricky, and so we’ve put together a Lost Wiki: Kozlovka walkthrough to help you out.
We must stress it’s worth trying to puzzle your way through most of the game by yourself, so we’d urge you to only refer to this walkthrough when you really need to. We’ve broken down our guide into sections led by the name of the email you receive. Potential job on Kozlovka
- Click in the user ID and passcode boxes multiple times to enter your information, then click log in.
- Click the flashing envelope at the bottom of the screen. Click database_instructions.doc to access the file.
- Once you’ve read, close the windows down and click the globe icon at the bottom of the screen to open the database. Click the notepad icon to bring up the report.
- In the database page, you’ll also need to click the Bialowieza Forest link to find the answers you need.
- To complete the report, you’ll need to click and drag the correct words into the empty spaces.
Kozlovka is a quiet town in Zarnava. It is beside the Bialowieza Forest, a vibrant woodland with a very distinct ecosystem. At the heart of the forest, a tall tree stands proud, that locals refer to as the Draken Oak (from Bialowieza Forest page).
The town itself has a thriving agriculture (drag agricultural achievements) business. One which boasts bountiful harvests and provides food sustainability.

Need More Than This
- There’s a new report to complete. From the Draken Oak page, note ‘1991’, the year of Zarnavian independennce. Click ‘Zarnavian government’ and click the zeroes until they read 1991, top to bottom.
- Click ‘Slavic rune symbols’.
Engraved on the tree, there are two runes: the top being Zemyna’s Cross and the bottom bring Twin Glyph (from the Slavic Rune Symbols page). The locals clearly hold spiritual beliefs tied to the forest.
These beliefs are not unfounded, for there are colonies of Symbiotic Ergot around the tree. The fungus is likely the cause of the town’s agricultural success.
The Real Brief
- To discover the victim here, you need to apply a bit of clever thinking. On the page detailing the disappearances, we can see an evidence photo showing a pair of glasses. On Dr Casimir Ostrovsky’s page, he’s wearing the same glasses. Therefore, we can deduce that he is the victim in question.
- As for the other answers? We may have just had to take an educated guess based on everything we’ve learned so far.
In the 1990s, there were a string of disappearances, most notably Atyla Dragunov.
Dr Casimir Ostrovsky was also a victim of the disappearance. It was because of this that the Modern Farming Initiative was scrapped.
The victim’s belongings were found in the Bialowieza Forest, which is where they were presumed to have met their ends.

For a small town, Kozlovka had its fair share of tragedies. Among them, these are the tragedies that coincide with sudden spikes in Kozlovka’s agricultural yield, from earliest to latest:

Coincidentally, these tragedies were all committed in the Bialowieza Forest.
Redacted Bypass
- Click the question mark icon to access the Redacted Bypass tool.
- As the information tells us, the password is the system code followed by the local area code. The system code can be found by clicking the mushroom icon in the top left of your screen. The local area code can be found on the letter attachment from Town Hall. The password is 342451.
- To read redacted documents, simply drag the name of an article into the Redacted Bypass tool. If an article has the text ‘This article has been modified from an earlier entry’ in it, it has redacted text available.
- For the information you need here, you’ll need to read redacted documents of: Summer Plague, Dr Mstislav Dragunov, and Jan Dragunov. It’s worth reading any redacted document you find, however.
After the government’s disapproval of their product, Dr Mstislav Dragunov caused the tragedy Summer Plague.
Because of this, Jan Dragunov proposed the Modern Farming Initiative to abandon any uses of the Symbiotic Ergot.
Family Ties
- Open the image attachment in the letter. It notes that the town ledger’s passcode is the heading code of the town hall.
- Go back to the ‘Dig Deeper’ email and open the Access Request attachment. The heading code for the town hall is NW6
- From the Redacted Bypass Readme attached to the previous email, we know that the NW refers to a compass point – northwest. Imagine the compass points on a circle, with north at the top, at 0 degrees. Northwest equates to 315 degrees.
- So the passcode for the town hall ledger page is 3156.

Witch‘s true name is Liliya Dragunova. They were responsible for the tragedy Animal Killings.
They frequently return to the site of the tragedy to carve the rune Izvini onto the Draken Oak.
Hidden Sister
You can open up the Dragunov family page with the code 1512 – the date of the winter festival (Found on the Festival Massacre page). You’ll need the information there to complete the next report.
Alina Dragunova is responsible for the tragedy Festival Massacre. They are also responsible for the two Slavic Rune Symbols on the Draken Oak.
The rumours of the tragedy spread across Europe, and led to another tragedy: Battle of the Forest.
From this point forward, there’s no new information to unlock: you have access to everything you need. It’s simply a case of correctly interpreting the information to piece together the story.
Conspiracy
Atyla Dragunov intentionally led investigations astray.
They ousted Liliya Dragunova from the family after the tragedy Animal Killings and covered up mistakes made by Dr Mstislav Dragunov after the tragedy Summer Plague.
You’ve Done Enough
You must have been incredibly close to Atyla Dragunov.
After all, your real name is Volha Dragunova, isn’t it?
Wrong Assumptions
There is more at play. There is a reason why there are so many Kozlovka Tragedies.
Everything traces back to one place and the roots lead back to the Draken Oak.
That tree is the center of it all, and your husband is part of it.

Dr Casimir Ostrovsky sent a letter to Jan Dragunov of how the Modern Farming Initiative will fail.
They also knew who was involved in the 90s Disappearance.

Stubborn as a Rock
The letter in question is attached to the email with no subject and is dated 1892.
The letter was written by Bohdan Dragunov addressed to Liliya Dragunova.
It suggests that the tragedy Festival Massacre was a ritual to cultivate more Symbiotic Ergot in order to treat Liliya Dragunova‘s illness.
This letter was lost to time, only to be found during the tragedy Battle of the Forest.
Continue
Attempting the ritual, Liliya Dragunova caused the tragedy Animal Killings. It failed to achieve results.
When they were caught, Atyla Dragunov took the letter and sent it to Dr Mstislav Dragunov.
In their excitement, Dr Mstislav Dragunov caused the tragedy Summer Plague.
Keep Going
After the incident, you invited Dr Casimir Ostrovsky to research the Symbiotic Ergot.
While research was underway, Atyla Dragunova started the ritual once again, causing the tragedy 90s Disappearance.
Dr Casimir Ostrovsky was suspicious and tried to notify you. However, the letter was intercepted by Atyla Dragunova, and killed them. This alerted you of the crime.
Well Done
There isn’t enough evidence… But I can take a calculated guess.
You killed Atyla Dragunov. He was the last victim of the 90s Disappearance.
