The Talos Principle 3 announced, coming soon to Steam and PS5
We had to wait to wait nearly ten years between the original The Talos Principle and its sequel. Though it was worth the wait, as The Talos Principle 2 was very impressive indeed, delivering some ingenious puzzles while dazzling us with its impressive visuals and a thought-provoking narrative. The announcement of The Talos Principle 3 coming so soon has come as quite the surprise, then, but that’s just what’s happened.
Croteam and Devolver Digital have today revealed that The Talos Principle 3 is in development for PS5 and PC. Not only that, but it’s coming soon, which means it must have been being worked on for a while. Posited as the grand finale to an epic saga, The Talos Principle 3 will presumably bring the series’ philosophical narrative to a thrilling conclusion, all while teasing players with a variety of brain-wracking puzzles.
The press release for the announcement states that The Talos Principle 3 will take players on a cosmic journey across a dozen worlds, which makes it sound rather meaty. Across those worlds there’ll be all-new challenges, too. Awakening from a troubled sleep, you’ll find yourself in a place called the Anomaly, a place where the laws of physics don’t work as they should. Some consider it to be Heaven, others Hell. There’s only one thing for sure, apparently: judgement awaits.
