Lou’s Lagoon crafting guide: All items and where to get them

Despite being a cosy adventure game, there’s a lot of crafting in Lou’s Lagoon. You’ll need to craft items to make new tools, and you’ll need to gather materials in order to progress through the game and complete missions. Our Lou’s Lagoon crafting and materials guide gives you a rundown of all items in the game along with where to find them or how to craft them.

We’ve arranged all items in alphabetical order to make it easy to find what you’re looking for. Simply scan down the list, and next to the material/item, you’ll find either its location and the tool required to gather it, or the materials needed to craft it. If no tool is mentioned, then presume it’s the Level 1 Swirler – the default gathering tool assigned to your right trigger button.

We recommend keeping this guide open to reference as you play, as you’ll frequently need new materials. If you aren’t sure where to go to find what you need, then hopefully we can point you in the right direction.

Lou’s Lagoon key resources

These are not so much crafting materials, but resources you’ll need to gather as you play.

• Shellings: This is the game’s currency. You’ll earn Shellings for completing missions, but they can also be found in chests and earned by defeating pirates. You can also sell items to earn them.
• Spark Cores: Spark Cores are needed to unlock new crafting recipes. Earned by progressing through the game and completing side missions.
