Kim Kaphwan, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves’ latest DLC fighter, joins the roster this month

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves’ fighting roster is about to get bigger with the addition of another downloadable fighter. This time around it’s Kim Kaphwan, a series regular who, after being revealed in July, is joining CotW this month.
The third Season 3 fighter, you’ll be able to play as Kim from September 24th. As a DLC character, he’s not free; you’ll need to either buy the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Season 3 pass or purchase him separately. The pass will cost you £15.98/$19.99, while Kim alone is £3.98/$4.99.
The trailer below shows this South Korean battler is more than capable of kicking some serious bottom. He first appeared in Fatal Fury 2, so he has real nostalgia value for long-time fans of the series. He was one of my go-to characters in Capcom vs SNK 2, and I’m glad to see him making a return here.
A master of Taekwondo, Kim is strictly a melee fighter. He can close the distance between himself and his opponent but, as Kim, you won’t be flinging fireballs from the other side of the screen. He wouldn’t be out of place in Tekken 8 and some fans have even put Kim into the game, as a skin.
Kim Kaphwan joins Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves this September 24th. The full game is available now on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
